Carissa Johnson has worked in the nonprofit industry in a managerial capacity for over 20 years, leading both small and large-scale projects to success in operational and financial management. With expertise in management, branding, and player development, Carissa has been instrumental in shaping organizational strategies and improving the impact of programs. She received both her BA and Master's degrees at the University of Central Florida, where she explored her love for Psychology and Nonprofit Management.


After nearly two decades of service to the community, Carissa returned to her roots in education and food, pursuing her passion for nutrition. As the Health Coach at Champs Fitness & Nutrition, she addresses health concerns and works with members to implement behavioral, nutritional, and lifestyle changes that promote better health and wellness.


Carissa’s passion for the nonprofit sector began early as she was a beneficiary of several youth development programs in her hometown. This experience cultivated a deep appreciation for how nonprofits work to improve lives, and she remains dedicated to supporting these efforts. She combines her knowledge of organizational leadership with a commitment to community development, helping organizations grow and thrive through effective branding and talent development strategies.

Jada Cody

Jada Cody is a dynamic and accomplished professional athlete, payroll manager, and real estate agent, known for her leadership, adaptability, and dedication both on and off the field. Currently a professional softball player with the Texas Smoke and the Algodoneras of Mexico, Jada’s athletic prowess has earned her recognition as a member of TEAM USA and numerous accolades, including being named to the NFCA All-Midwest Region First Team (2024) and breaking UCF’s career records in doubles, home runs, and RBIs. Her leadership extends beyond sports, where she excels in managing payroll operations at Ever Ready Care and helping clients navigate real estate transactions at Coldwell Banker. Jada is committed to excellence in every aspect of her life, balancing a dynamic career in corporate environments with her passion for sports. She is a proven leader, earning accolades such as the Order of Pegasusfor academic and leadership excellence from the University of Central Florida.
